This episode features the industrious Samuel Vera, creator of There's an Alien in My Toilet and the podcast "Catch Da Craze." We talked to Samuel about his creative journey and how taking a break from comics might have fueled his current drive to success. We also talked about his inspiration for the character of Captain Doodie. Find more of Samuel's work on https://instagram.com/catchdacraze and be sure to check out his link tree: https://linktr.ee/catchdacraze
We also reviewed and talked about the comic "THE BADDASS BALLAD OF ZANDER CHROME: THE COOLEST MAN ON EARTH AND PROBABLY THE UNIVERSE TOO" created by Paul Kortjohn. To be frank and honest -- we have no idea why we reviewed this comic this month instead of when it was sent to us last year...but it's a really cool comic and we hope you can find it. Paul sent it to us months ago, there was no discussion that we would be doing it now. Kind of assuming that the email got lost until recently, but it's been a couple weeks since we recorded and I can't remember. We hope you will support Paul's great indie comics and follow him on instagram. Thanks so much Paul for letting us read and talk about this comic!! https://www.instagram.com/pkortjohncomix/
Thanks for listening! We're back next week!
